The Christmas Wreath event took part this year in Pinehurst I and was another very successful and popular event with our occupiers. This was kindly led by the on-site landscape team, ‘Nurture’ who held four workshops during the lunchtime period.

Each participant decorated their own wreaths with dried fruit, cinnamon sticks, ribbons, mini baubles and other festive embellishments.

The event was a sell-out and an impressive £450 was raised which has been donated to CMPP Community Matters Partnership Project as part of the YAF fund to help children in the local area. A very big thank you to all those who took part and continue to support our local charity.

Christmas started early for our tenants who had the opportunity of doing some Christmas Shopping at our annual Festive Market.
The venue was our Hub building which was flooded with crisp, winter sunshine, perfect weather for such an event!
Traders included Stella & Dot, Benefit, Bonboosh, Halo Boutique, Whizzbits, Maisy’s Cakes, Puzzle Design Jewellery and Arbonne who all generously gave a donation to CMPP for the YAF Fund.

Farnborough Business Park and CMPP would like to express our heartfelt thanks to our occupiers who kindly donated items for our Xmas Food Bank Drive.
We had an overwhelming response and all the items were taken to the local Food Bank Depot.
The items will be distributed to both Farnborough and Aldershot food banks for the less fortunate this Christmas.

In particular, we would like to thank our following companies who participated ….Thomson Local, Aetna, Fiscal Reps, JAE, Cartwrights, Sourcing City, Sentiment, FBP Facilities team

In tandem with the Adults Winter Coat Drive, our tenants also generously donated nearly 40 children’s coats which were given to The Church of the Good Shepherd in Farnborough.

The coats will be available at the the Olive Branch clothing exchange which operates each Thursday morning for families in need a bit of help.
The Church does great work for the community, for more details visit www.goodshepherdchurch.org.uk

A Winter Coat Drive was launched at the business park and our occupiers certainly had a good clear out!
Over 80 adult’s coats have been collected to help the less fortunate in the local area of Rushmoor – Farnborough & Aldershot.
The men’s and women’s coats were collected by The Vine Centre, Aldershot and will certainly be gratefully received as the days and nights get colder.
The Vine’s aims are to reduce social isolation, to facilitate change, and to improve the quality of life for vulnerable and socially isolated men and women aged 18 years and over.
They offer a welcoming and encouraging environment for everyone in the local community or referred clients seeking assistance www.thevinecentre.org.uk

The Vine also operate ‘Vine Dining’ (pictured) a social enterprise scheme established to provide training and employment for the disadvantaged and socially isolated.

Some of our tenants made ghoulish creations when they took part in our annual Pumpkin Carving Event.
Our on-site team from Nurture Landscapes ran the event at lunchtime.
Participants made a contribution to take part in this fun activity and £58 was raised.
The money will be used to buy food & essentials for the CMPP Food Bank initiative which will benefit local residents, who will receive a food hamper at Christmas.
