Occupiers are now able to hire brand new bikes free of charge for up to 72hours at Farnborough Business Park. The bikes are stored at designated hubs park and can be used to cycle around the park, ensuring that the amenities are just a quick ride away. If you want to go further afield you can even ride them into town or ride the bike home to enjoy for the evening or over the weekend.
How to hire a bike
You simply have to download the Donkey Republic app from your chosen App Store. Do remember that you must sign up using your work email address, not your personal email, otherwise it won’t register you.
Once you’ve collected your bike from a designated hub, if you want to stop and lock your bike, you can simply connect to the lock via Bluetooth to lock and unlock your bike whenever you need to.
How to give the bike back
When you have finished riding the bike, simply return the bike back at one of the bike hubs and end your hire in the Donkey Republic app.
With the average person burning between 450 to 750 calories per hour cycling, it’s the perfect way to get fit and enjoy some fresh air at the same time.
