Getting Your Skates On For Charity
Farnborough Business Park helps local roller team raise over £1,000 for military charities.
The Royal Windsor Roller Derby approached Farnborough Business Park to ask if they could host a charity event onsite. The business park team were more than happy to welcome the derby team whose volunteers skated around the car park at Pinehurst II for the afternoon. During the event they raised an impressive £1,227 for military charities.
The original plan was to skate 100km in honour of Sir Captain Tom Moore, but they ended up skating over 500km.
